    Talking It is a shame.

    Hi.

    I heard this sentence many times.
    I think it means a expression of regretness.
    Please, let me know what does mean.

    Yes, "It's a shame." does mean that something is regrettable or unfortunate. You could also say "It's too bad." or "It's a pity."
