What other phrases do you know to convey the same meaning as "First come, first served" ?

A little less formal but, "The early bird gets the worm". :-D

Well, they can mean the same thing. But if the early arrivals get the best parking spaces (for example) that doesn't necessarily involve service. (My opinion.)

One more point. "First come, first served" is about fairness. "The early bird gets the worm" is about diligence.

Interesting.

Have you heard this one, "First in, best dressed"?
It is seemingly used in Australia to convey the same meaning as 'First come, first served'.
I am not sure about the level of formality and does this phrase encompass both 'fairness' and 'diligence'?

No. I hadn't heard that one. (Don't use "about" there.) I don't know what it means (if anything).
