No. It's mounted in the lower part of the window.Window air conditioner bracket-mounted below the window?
Actually it hasn't. The double-hung window is closed as far as it can be, fitting into a channel on top of the air conditioner. The openings on either side are blocked by accordion-folded barriers.Well, the window has been modified by changing the bottom part of the frame into an opening for installing the air conditioner.
Jut out?
It's simple. The lower sash slides up nearly half the height of the window. It can accommodate any air conditioner that's shorter than the opening. You close the window until it meets the air conditioner, then put in the side barriers. This opening isn't designed to fit an air conditioner; air conditioners are designed to fit windows of a certain size or larger.Okay, the windows come with the opening for the air conditioner. But then, the size of the opening varies with the sizes of the air-conditioner, so it is not easy to standardize such an opening.
The entire air conditioner is sticking out of the window. Only the grille and controls are inside.
Try starting with the windows, not the air conditioners. Is this okay?
The back of the air conditioners jutted out of every window, whirring with a loud noise in the summer night.
Try starting with the windows, not the air conditioners.
"Air conditioners protruded from all the windows …."
