I need a verb which would be used to suggest that lipstick got on teeth:

Jane had put on too much lipstick and after kissing Barren some of it...her teeth.

I already know smudge and am looking for another option.

stained
was smeared on
coloured

If you use "smudge", you have to say "was smudged on/across/over her teeth". You can't say "smudged her teeth".

Don't forget to put a space at both ends of an ellipsis.

Are you sure you mean "Barren"? I've never heard that as a name. Perhaps you mean "Baron".
