This is an entry from my diary. Please check it and correct any mistakes.

Today, I discussed "snow" with my friends. Many of them have seen the snow. As far as I could remember, I haven't seen any, but my mother said I had seen once in Shanghai at the age of 3 or 4. She said I liked to move the snow into house and got everything wet. I can't recall that memory completely. How come I forgot such an important natural scene in my life? When I was a child, I really wanted to see the snow, so I even pretended the ice stuck on the inside of the refrigerator was snow.

Ice is hard and smooth (like glass). Perhaps you meant "frost" instead.

Those are not necessary. There is nothing wrong with the original parts.

I've had ice build up in old refrigerators. You have to take out all the food and unplug it for a day or two.

But you're right, it doesn't look like snow. It's ice, and it looks like ice.

I had one of those fridges when I was living in Manila- you would have to unplug it and hammer the the stuff and chuck it in the sink.
