    Incorrect?

    Hi teachers,

According to an exam preparation book, this following sentence has one incorrect part.

We have received much more requests for information than we anticipated.

This sentence doesn't seem wrong to me.
    Can you help me?

    Hi Kitty
    .
I assume they want "many more requests" as the correction.

    Re: Incorrect?

    Hi Philly,

Thanks a lot for answering the question in no time!
So, is using much more (with a plural noun, I guess) incorrect?

I'd say that 'many + more + plural noun' and 'much + more + uncountable (singular) noun' would be fairly safe "rules" to use.
