Smile Please help me find an adjective...

    Dear Teachers,

Can you please help me find an adjective to desribe a person who is down-to-earth, reticent and strong such as the characters played by Clint Eastwood or Sean Connery?

    Thank you.

There will be many suggestions, but these might start things off:

    A man's man
