As a Hebrew speaker, sometimes I can't distinguish between the use of "those" and "these". Can you help me find a way to distinguish them easily?
When comparing the two, this/these refers to the thing or person that is closer to you; that/these refers to the thing that is more distant.
These shoes are better than those shoes.
Look up "this" and "that" in a good dictionary and compare the senses and examples.
