I am a little confused. Which of the following is correct?

1.) funny, funnier, funniest
or
2.) funny, more funny, most funny

:-?

Thanks for your help ;-)

IMO, #1 is the more common.

You're welcome.

As Bob K suggested, the rules for comparatives and superlatives are flexible. Both ways of forming them are appropriate for many adjectives and adverbs.
