    blocked out and blinded?

"...a lamp illuminated a movie poster showing a nondescript woman whose eyes had been blocked out, blinded."

What does it mean that the woman's eyes had been "blocked out" and "blinded"?

    Re: blocked out and blinded?

'Blocked out' means someone had deliberately covered over the eyes with a felt pen or similar. 'Blinded' I assume means that the intention was to deface image in the poster.
