    lives/life

    Hi all,

i would like to know which of the two is correct.

    A) 50 people talked about the books that changed their lives.
    B) 50 people talked about the books that changed their life.

    I would say A.
but the thing is, i saw a book ad which said (B).

i am not sure if i correctly quoted the whole sentence. but i am sure they used "books" and "life".

why would it be like that??

    thx in advance!

You will see both versions in this situation. Both are grammatical, but IMO, only #1 is logical. These people do not share a single life.
