    Question Usage of "on" and "at"

    Hi all

    Which will fit best for the following sentence. I woulld like to have guidance on the usage of "on" and "at". Kindly give explanation on the same.

    It is bad to step ____ the cracks in the sidewalk

    a) on b) at c) with

    on

    "On" usually refers to something with a horizontal surface for standing.

    'At" usually refers to a general location.

    They merge with something like the corner of a street. One can be at a corner or on a corner.

    There is diffcult to disinguish between "at" and "in". Could you explain that? Thanks.
    Example: at home, at office
    in office, in school
