Hello, it's been a long time...

Is it true that the noun committee behaves similar to the nouns like parliament, court, prison, hospital etc. when combined with certain verbs in certain context f.i.:

The nominations are hold in committee and there is only a slight chance to revert this situation to our benefit.

Can you give me more examples?
Do you know any other nouns which behave like described above?

    Best regards,

    Re: committee

Do you mean things like 'in camera' for closed sessions of courts, etc?
