    what's the diff
    can you explain the diff between which and that

    Do you see the cat which is lying on the roof?
    Do you see the cat that is lying on the roof?

    Those are both correct, especially in BrE. In AmE, "which" would be uncommon in that type of relative clause (restrictive).
