Smile Hello from a new member

    Hi everyone,

I'm Tara, who's become a member of this site today.

I love watching English and American dramas and movies,
and would like to ask questions from them so that I can understand
    stories better.

I'm looking forward to communicating with you all soon.

    Bye,
    Tara

    Hi RonBee,

    Thanks for your comments.
Sure, we can see lots of American movies and dramas here.
Actually, not only American movies, but also another countries'.
But it takes some weeks or months to import them
because of broadcast right, translation and so on.

    Later,
    Tara

    Hi **C@RL$$**,

    Thanks. I hope so, too.
It would be nice if we all talk about our own culture and understand
    each other's country.

    Later,
    Tara

Well, I haven't said much so far, but perhaps I can make up for that.

When you say "American movies and dramas" that could be confusing. That is because a drama is one type of movie. Are dramas your favorites?

Are the movies you get there the original versions or are they dubbed or have subtitles?

Are you familiar with the Godzilla movies (Japanese exports to the US)?

    Hello again,

-- Yeah, so I should've said American movies and TV drama?
I like various genre of movies. But I like comedy best.

Are the movies you get there the original versions or are they dubbed or have subtitles?

-- We can get either dubbed or subtitles. But on TV, we can watch the
    original versions if we like.

Are you familiar with the Godzilla movies (Japanese exports to the US)?

-- I've seen it before, but can't say I'm familiar with it.
I've seen American version, too, and was amazed how fast the American
    Gozilla moved.

    Hello again,

I try to stay away with msn or yahoo messenger or any kind of that stuff.
I know it would be fun, but wouldn't know when I can get back to work or
exercise once I start using it. Lots of friends have tried to convince me
to use it, but I've kept refusing.
Thanks anyway. You are always welcome to comment to my thread.

I don't know about HBO, but we do have some pay per view channel
in Japan. I guess it's getting more popular year by year.
