    Some other prepositions

    Hi,

Thank you all for your interpretations for 'due to'.

There are some other ones here from:

    https://www.usingenglish.com/members...hp?quiz_id=231

Q13: He's tired of their complaints. Isn't 'with' correct, too?
Q20: Congratulations on your engagement. Why is 'for' incorrect?

    Thank you.

1 That doesn't collocate for me- bored of/with is fine, though.
2 I'd congratulate someone for doing something, a form of gratitude, not on their engagement.

PS Is it National Preposition Day in Japan today.

I agree with Tdol. The same is true in AmE.

    Hi,
Today is another National Preposition Day in Japan.
I felt Q5 in https://www.usingenglish.com/members...hp?quiz_id=416 was weird without the preposition 'at'.

    Re: Some other prepositions

Thanks. Though two such days is probably a bit much.
