    make people pay

    Dear Teachers,

    A. I want to do everything I can to have people pay attention to me.
    - Can I say “………………………….to make people pay…………………….”?

    B. I think your main concern should be to get him to stop cutting himself. Don’t overact to it too much, or he’ll get freaked out.
    - What does “he’ll get freaked out” mean?

    Thanks a million

    A. Yes.

    B. It should be "overreact". "He'll get freaked out" means "he'll get very upset", possibly to the point of being irrational.
