    object complement or adverbial?

    Hello teachers,

He stroked his guitar clean with a soft cotton cloth.

Is 'clean' a subject complement or object complement? then..
'with a soft clean cloth' is it an adverbial or an object complement?

The word clean in that sentence is an adjective.

I would say that with a soft cotton cloth is an object complement. Better wait until Mike or Cas or Tdol come along tho just to be sure. :)
