Is there an expression "plugged in pug"? In the context a pug is watching a tv show with its master. At one point there are different kinds of dogs on the show and the pug gets very excited / angry and jumps at the tv. The pug is referred to as "plugged in pug".
The pug was plugged in to the TV show. (The phrase "plugged in" here means "interested in".)
Dogs don't normally watch TV much, but that pug was plugged in (interested in what was on TV).
I hope that helps.
