    Hi, Teacher,
    could you pls tell me the meaning of the word 'outlet' in the following sentence, thanks.
    In fact the fastfood outlets account for 5% of the restaurant business in Italy.
    Does it mean the annual turnover?

    In that use, an "outlet" is a store that sells the products of a larger entity.
