    Hi,

    which should we use in the sentenc below and why?

    1. The wedding/meeting/concert______take place
    on December 30.
    a) will
    b) is going to
    c) is taking place

    They're all possible. It would depend, for me, on the context. If, for example, I were announcing it, I would probably use 'will'. If I were discussing arrangements, I'd use the present progressive.

    If just talking about it, but not thinking about arrangements, etc.
