    Re: help!!

In general, adverbs modify verbs. They answer the question, How? Adjectives modify nouns. They answer the question, What kind of? Like this,

    Adverb
    Ex: The cat ran quickly.
Test: How did the cat run?

    Adjective
Ex: The big, black cat ran quickly.
Test: What kind of cat ran quickly?

Adverbs also answer the questions, Where? and When?

    Hope that helps.
