    Fractions

    Dear teachers,

    I'm confused about how to read fractions. will you help me how to read this;
    23.5/45.7 : 67.5

    With complex fractions, one usually speaks of them as a division problem:

    twenty-three point five over forty-five point seven.

    The colon means a ratio and is said "is to" sixty-seven point five.

    So, if not complex fractions for example 3/5 ......we use cardinal and ordinal number ( it's read three fifth ), is it?

    three fifths
    one fourth
    two thirds
