    Au Pair

I have a French Au Pair coming to live with me in January. Do you think this online facility is a good way to help her with her english?

    Thanks

    Re: Au Pair

    Definitely.

But even this wonderful online facility is nowhere near as good as real life. She'll learn more in 3 months of being immersed in the English language than she will in 3 years on this board. The very best thing for her would be to make native-speaking friends of her own age, but with the possible side-effect that she may pick up some phrases you'd rather not have her say in front of the children.
