    what is the meaning for "I miss you?"

    It depends on who says that.
    I miss you = I want you to be right beside me.
    Anyway, it should be explain to me

    "I miss you" means that the speaker is sad that there is distance between them. That distance could be physical (geographical) or emotional (no longer in a relationship/friendship).

    "What is the meaning of" is perfectly fine.
