    I wonder if which is correct.

    1. The problem took men two months to do.

    2. It took men two months to do the problem.

    I have thought No.1 is used but not correct.

    Try,

    Ex: It took the men two months to find a solution to the problem.
    Ex: Finding a solution to the problem took the men two months to do.
