    extend

    Hi,

could you please explain the meaning of the following sentence:

All public and bank holidays shall be extended to the vacation allowance of the employee.

Does it mean that the public and bank holidays are in addition to the vacation allowance of the employee?

    Thank you very much.

    Hanka

    Re: extend

It reads badly. I think it means in addition, but I wouldn't use 'be extended to' there.
