    are these sentence correct?


    i'm sad to read romeo and juliet
    it's sad to read romeo and juliet
    beautiful stars seen in the sky in winter
    it's fun for me to play basketball

    2 and 4 are fine as they stand. 3 looks like a part of a longer sentence, but is grammatical otherwise. 1 is wrong.

    I'm sad to read Romeo and Juliet

    What you'd say is 'Reading R&J makes me sad.'

    You could also say 'I'm too sad to read Romeo and Juliet', but that would mean something else.
