    What's the difference

What's the difference between the following sentences?

    I have to go
    I have to get going

Thanks a lot in advance for your explanation

    Re: What's the difference

I have to go. This is more formal and direct.
I have to get going. This is used in more casual setting. It is a softer, gentler way of expressing ones need to leave.
