    we lost easily

    "we lost easily" is this right? The situation is the soccer game wasn't played long because the other team won immediately...pls help.

    You can lose easily. It means you didn't put up much opposition. You can also win easily.

    Football matches last for a set length of time, so that is not what it means. You don't play football for 2 minutes then lose.

    If it was a boxing match then you could lose easily if your opponent knocked you out in the first round.
