    Re: what does infinitive mean?

    Hi, Rehana,
The Infinitive is a non-finite form of a verb used with or without to, eg
    go, to go
    I am ready to start.
    We can wait a little.
They must be waiting for us.
They must have been waiting for too long.
    Regards
