    My spirit sank
    My spirit rose
    You're in high spirits.

    I'm feeling up=I'm happy/hopeful
    I'm feeling down=I'm sad/depressed
    I boosted my spirit=I did something to make myself feel better.
    My spirit sank=I lost some hope.
    My spirit rose=I gained some hope.
    You're in high spirits=You're happy
    I'm pretty sure of these.
