    body corporate, constituted

A firm, company, or any other body corporate, constituted under any law for the time being in force.

What is the meaning of this sentence?

    Could anyone explain it please?

    Re: body corporate, constituted

    Ok, Thank you.

I found in dictionary that :

body corporate ---------- a person, association, or group of persons legally incorporated; corporation

Here, legally incorporated ---------- legally registered

    Is it right?
Also, what is the meaning of `time being in force'?

    Please explain it.
