Question with friends like you who needs an enema?

I would like to know what this phrase means?

My guess is that it's a play on words for the common phrase,

"with friends like you who needs an enemy".

My thought entirely. Who indeed NEEDS an enema.....would be rather uncomfortable.

    Hi,
BTW it's rather common here to call unpleasant picky people, especially women bosses, an old enema.

If there's one thing I have learnt on this forum is that I should never take things for granted. Re this phrase I would have been 100% sure that it was a misprint.'With friends like you who needs an enemy?' is a well known saying. But after reading Humble's reply I decided to check on the word 'enema'. One of the definitions which I found on Dictionary.com is ...wait for it....1. the injection of a fluid into the rectum to cause a bowel movement. so I guess it would make sense here!!!
