Smile The couple ended up as breakup

The couple ended up as breakup.

Does it sound right to you? If yes, could I also write: We ended up as good teamwork?

    Thanks.

Neither sound like the most natural choices, PS but I'd say that they are possible. Whereas the normal probably would be something like,

The couple ended up breaking up. OR We ended up as a good team OR We ended up working well together,

for effect we sometimes stress a category to describe what we mean, as in,

The couple ended up as "breaaaaakup".

"We ended up as "good teamwork".

Thanks, riverkid, for clarification and extra samples.
