    local time

    Please tell me about this.
    Do you say

    The announcement was made ...

    1) the local time, or
    2) on the local time, or
    3) based on the local time?

...so they had to wake me up, who was on the other side of the world, to let me know about it.

    1) the local time, No, PL.
    2) on the local time, No.
    3) based on the local time? Okay.
    4) at [actual time] local time. eg; "at 1PM local time"
...so they had to wake me up, who was on the other side of the world, to let me know about it.
...so they had to wake me up to let me know about it [who] because I was on the other side of the world.

    Re: local time

    Thank you, riverkid!

But I need to say it without the actual time.
Is there a more natural way to say "based on the local time"?

    Re: local time

    "according to the local time"?

I guess it's not natural, though...

Maybe say something like 'during their working day, while I was fast asleep on the other side of the world'.
