    Red face What´s the difference?

    One of my students has asked me to explain the difference between the
    following verbs:

    assume
    presume
    suppose

    I haven´t been able to find anything - and I´m not sure there is a real
    difference!

    AskOxford: Assume or presume

    For example, in mathematical proofs we use 'Let's assume that......'
