    mei

    hi,
I would like to know the definition of an idiom - when someone is saying you are pushing your luck, what does it means. Thanks

    Re: mei

It means that you are expecting too much or trying too hard.

I agree, but it has a negative touch to it - meaning you are risking losing
    what you have achieved.

Eg. They´ve agreed to pay for your flights, so don´t push your luck and ask
them to pay for your hotel as well.
