A horse neighs. What does a hog do?
Also, 'hog' is a word used by specialists (market traders, farmers...). For most people the everyday word is 'pig'. A pig grunts; the onomatopoeic word is 'oink oink'.
Many thanks. So a hog is actually a pig. I know a pig grunts, not knowing that a hog is a pig.
Many thanks. So a hog is a pig. So naturally, like a pig, it grunts.
Thanks again. Point noted.
A cute little pig oinks and squeals. A big ol' hog grunts and snorts.
A little Korean boy, all of three, told me an owl "poo-poos" in the tree. (Of course he meant who-whoed.) Watch your heads!
