    Watch and see

    I don't know when to use watch and when to use see in connection with films/DVDs....

    I say: I'm watching a film - but what is right:
    Yesterday I watched a film? or
    Yesterday I saw a film?
    Or are both versions correct?

    i think that it's better to use "watch" & not "see"
    plz if anyone has a correction i'm waiting thanks
