    Smile Out Of Time, On A Line

    Hello,

    I have a question about lycics of a song again.
    This time, "Maybe I'm Amazed" sung by Jem.

    I understand the whole idea, except;
    "Maybe I'm Amazed At The Way You Pulled Me Out Of Time
    And Hung Me On A Line"

    I don't undestand "out of time" and "on a line" .
    Does it mean "when I was at a loss, you helped and showed
    the right way"??

    Thank you,
    Tara

    Re: Out Of Time, On A Line

    Hi Tara

    I would understand it like this;

    Maybe I'm Amazed At The Way you changed my life

    And put me on a leash.

    (poor guy)

    Re: Out Of Time, On A Line

    Hi Miner49'er,

    Thank you for your comment.

    I should've quoted more verses, but it goes like this;

    "Maybe I'm Amazed At The Way You Love Me All The Time
    Maybe I'm Afraid Of The Way I Love You
    Maybe I'm Amazed At The Way You Pulled Me Out Of Time
    And Hung Me On A Line
    Maybe I'm Amazed At The Way I Really Need You"

    I understand this is about a girl who has fallen in love with a guy.
    But I like your interpretation.

    Tara
