    were you to choose/ had I seen...

    Hi,
    Could you explain the way to make it, I know the first, 2nd, 3rd and zero conditionals, but I dont know this other way to use them, and when.
    Are they more formal?
    I would appreciate if you could help.

    These are simply more formal versions, Paula Carla, a different collocation with the same meaning.

    Were you to choose ... = If you were to choose ... = If you chose ...

    Had I seen ... = If I had seen ...
