    A little problem...

Could somebody explain to me the meaning of the bold line?
    Thanks a lot

Who are all these, who flow in the veins of the city,
    Coil and revolve and dream,
    Vanish or gleam?
Some mount up to the brain and flower in fire.
Some are destroyed; some die; some slowly stream

    A possible interpretation:

Some of the people and their life or death catch the imagination and become vivid in the mind of the observer.
