    Question "dedicating" or "dedicated"?

Since established in 2000,this company has been dedicating to the producing of machinery.

Since established in 2000,this company has been dedicated to the producing of machinery.

Which is the more natural saying, from a native English view?

If neithter is proper, could you tell me a better one?
    Thanks in advance.

I'd say DEDICATED to the PRODUCTION of machinery. Sounds better

    Wink Re: "dedicating" or "dedicated"?

Thanks a lot ,and I will be more delighted if I could receive the reason why the first sounds less better.

Furthermore,I want to know if it(the first) is correct.

Additionaly and gladly speaking, the second one is from me,with regard to the first from another guy.

'Since [add "it was" or "being"] established in 2000, this company has been dedicated to the producing of machinery.' 'Dedicating' is just wrong in that context, although you could say 'this company has been dedicating itself to...'. 'Dedicate' is a transitive verb, and needs an object; so you can't use 'to [something]' immediately after it - you need a direct object (often a reflexive pronoun) first, and then the 'to [something]'.
