    arranged in a zigzag way?

Please take a look at this picture.
Can I say the glass panes that form the exterior of this building is "arranged in a zigzag way?"
If not, how can I express what I want to say?

    (The picture comes from ֳɴ)

Re: arranged in a zigzag way?

Zigzag is close, but that word has a linear quality to it. Since the panes are planar in shape, I'd probably say accordion style as well.

Or maybe even corrugated (or, in less formal contexts, like corrugated cardboard - though that's not really angular enough). Hmm. I prefer Fizi's suggestion
