Please tell me what "club kid", "country club kid" and "waif" mean in the following two passages.

    1. Over the centuries, clothing styles have gone form functional to elitist to democratic to comically contagious. Today, fashion is all of those things. Our clothes still protect our bodies and preserve our modesty and they still align us with certain social groups (club kid vs. country club kid).

    2. Nowadays, anything can be a trend. We talk about which body shapes are fashionable each season (curvy, boyish, waif).
