Do you say "I appreciate it" to the people who are very close to you, for example, to your mother or father?
I wonder whether I can use the phrase in any situation or to anybody.
I've seen a person say "I appreciate it" to his friend in a movie, so it seems to be OK to use the phrase between friends. But what if it is between a child and his or her parent?
