    Stylistic Problem

In writing a letter including a certain description, I am finding some problem regarding the correctness of certain expression that directly translated from my language -Spanish- might not be very orthodox from the stylistic point of view.

Thus, might you tell me whether the following sentence is a good way to start a paragraph?

"Esthetically similar to the old-fashioned bicycle, ....."

Certainly, I like this way to introduce a subject, which is correct and very common in French and Spanish. Nevertheless, I am not sure of the way an English speaker and thinker person will find it.

    Thank you
