    At Home

    Dear Teachers,

    A. Spending time with my family at home is one way to connect with members in my family and be involved with what is happening in our lives. And it also helps me avoid drinking, smoking, use illegal drugs and bad company and bad friends.

    - Are these correct to say?

    Thanks a million

    I'd say like this:
Staying in with my family help me spend much time with them and be aware of what is happening in our lives. It also helps me avoid smoking, using alcahol and drugs and having a bad company.
