I need you to send me a new copies of the CDs

    - I need you to send me a new copies of the CDs.

Is this correct? I'm always confused using articles. Like this example. Should I remove the "a" article? I am just thinking about the policy that when you are referring to a plural, there should be no article.

In fact, you should say 1. I need you to send me copies of the CDs.
or 2. I need you to send me some copies of the CDs. or 3. I need you to send me a copy of the CDs.

I'd prefer 'I would like you to send me.....'

Is it fine to use "copy" only in your third example eventhough I'm referring to some copies of the CDs?

If you want one copy of all the CDs, you can say 'a copy'.
